It was a pleasure speaking with you yesterday and discussing old times. It has been almost twenty-five years since you added me as one of your recruiting candidates.
I remember fondly how you were able to place me at Magnetics, Division of Spang & Company in 1981. That was the start of a career which would span twenty years and three promotions until I was reporting to the President of the division as Marketing Manager. It took some finesse on your part in getting me the first interview. Thank you for a job well done. If it hadn’t been for your efforts I would not have gotten the job.
Not only are you responsible for placing me at an excellent high tech company. You have also become by business confidant. I appreciate being able to discuss with you career and business opportunities. Your insight has helped me time and again as I charted my business future.
